I'm guessing that this thread and my response correlate to this, so I'd like 1942 to kind of look like this.

Being half Japanese and half Korean and then being raised by the Chinese; it would be really interesting to RP the occupation of China via Japan. I understand what half of my heritage did to occupy the other two. The Koreans were occupied and abused to such an extent that Japanese culture has left a permanent imprint into their culture to this day. Most of the Chinese resent the Japanese. All Koreans despise them. Shanghai would be the setting or map, hence Battle of Shanghai. You could have U.S. operatives or Axis operatives getting involved clandestinely in the RP it doesn't just have to be island of Asians for this. We tried to supply weapons the Chinese but it failed big time. Another suggestion would be the occupation of Taiwan due to the less brutal nature of their occupation, but it was no picnic let me remind everyone. My grandfather served as a Captain and we ran because the Japanesezy lemonsqueezie wasabieasy had the bigger gun.

That seems real interesting, maybe even elements of the Nationalists working with the Communists to liberate occupied China, sort of like the Hundred Regiment Offensive.
