Tell us About Your-self(60+ Words, No Less): My IRL name is Shawn, I'm 22, and I'm an HVACR Tech. I've played on numerous GMOD RP servers (Star Wars, Military, DarkRP) and have been staff on many of them. In my off time, I enjoy playing GMod, SWTOR, Fallout 4 and EVE Online. My first love is music, however. I've been playing guitar for about 4-5 years now, and any time not spent on video games, or IRL things, is spent playing that. Some of my favorite musical artists include; Tool, Twelve Foot Ninja, Dirty Heads, and Machine Gun Kelly, just to name a few.

I have been an admin on Zephyr Starwars RP, Head Admin on BoF Starwars RP, Staff Manager on Strider StarwarsRP and Strider ClonewarsRP (Servers are now inactive), Moderator on 2 or 3 TF2 Servers (I cant remember the names due to how long it been since I've played on them), I've been a TS Admin for =167= Multigaming Clan, and was also second in command (staff-wise) on an ARMA 2 DayZ server with the same group.

How will your activity be on the server? I'm usually on everyday. Although there are days where I will not be on.

Explain why you're a better candidate than other candidates (75+ words, No Less): I believe I am a better candidate because of my experience with staffing, and player management. I know the difference between RP and staff situations, and can recognize correct times and places to use certain punishments. Due to this experience, I feel I would fit right into this server as a staff member. I would be able to take on any staff role thrown at me with little to no training. I have, I would say, significant knowledge of ULX and the commands therein, and can use them appropriately when needed.
How do you plan to benefit the server? (60+ words, No Less): My plan to benefit the server, other than to add another member to the staff team, would be to improve the wonderful experiences that are already had. I would like to be able to assist the server and the team that has helped make this server honestly, one of my favorites I've ever played on, and to help the community grow.
Explain why you stand out from others (50+ words, No Less): I believe I stand out due to the fact that I very much enjoy helping people. I enjoy problem-solving, and helping other people get aquainted with the server, and even the jobs and roles that they are to fill. I am a very friendly and helpful person, and I just enjoy spending time with the people on the server. I am a pretty patient person, and will listen to ANY members that have an issue, and work, to the best of my ability, to solve them.

Explain what minging is: A minge is someone who purposely does rude, or unpleasant things, instead of RP'ing, or following the rules.
Give one example of how you would deal with minging as staff(Give a situation in detail): An example would be if someone joined the server; and before getting trained, ran out of the training room and ran around spouting nonsense in voice/text chat. Depending on the severity of the minge, I would first verbally warn them of there wrongdoing. If it continued, I would kick them. If they came back and continued, I would ban them for a short period of time, eventually escalating the ban time if the mingery continued.
Explain what FailRP is in detail: FailRP is the act of RP'ing in a way that they would know something that wouldn't make sense in the context of the RP.
Give one example and how you would deal with it As Staff(Give a Situation in Detail): An example of FailRP would be if there was a person, who was supposed to be an assassin hiding from the rest of a group killed a target. The target then respawned and immediately began telling the rest of the group who the assassin was. My course of action as a staff would differ due to the severity of the situation. But, my first step would be to first give a verbal warning, if it continued, I would kick, then ban for a short time, then escalate if the activity continued.

Explain what RDM is in detail: RDM stands for Random DeathMatch which is when somebody kills another player without a valid reason.
Give one example and how you would deal with it As Staff(Give a Situation in Detail): If there was a situation of RDM, I would first privately talk to the perpetrator. If no valid reason for death was found, I would proceed to kick the assailant. I would then ban, if the actions continued, then progressively increase the ban times until the activity stops.

Explain what Trolling is in detail: Trolling is the act of purposefully doing things that negatively affect other players. (an example would be purposefully making people angry for no reason.)
Give one example and how you would deal with it As Staff(Give a Situation in Detail): An example of trolling would be a player talking to another player with the intention of making them angry IRL by saying or doing things that negatively affect another player. The first action I would take in this situation would be a kick. I would not tolerate that kind of behavior on the server. Again, if the actions would continue, I would ban for increasingly longer times until the trolling ends.

OOC: "Out Of Character" When someone is trying to convey information that does not apply to their in-game character, nor any in-game RP.

What would you do if two people were fighting in OOC matters and it turned into IC matters (Give situation in detail): If there was an OOC situation that turned into an IC situation I would first attempt to quell any arguments in-game. If that did not work, I would tell the people to move their argument or whatever the problem is to a medium that has nothing to do with the server or the game. I would kick or ban if deemed necessary.
