Experience with staffing (ULX, other servers, etc.):

I used to be a server manager for a community called HoE ( Hell on Earth ) We had multiple different servers on different games, Css, Rust, etc; Learning the commands and ins and outs for Gmod admin commands will be easy.


How active will you be on the server?

well, According to Steam, I have 174 hours on Gmod in the last two weeks (all HaloRP) So roughly average around that ( ya I sorta have a lot of free time if work is not up my ass.)

pretty much once I get home from work. until Rugby season starts, then still on but after those commitments


Explain why you're a better candidate than other candidates (75+ words):

I believe I am a better candidate than others because of three of my strongest attributes. Experience running Servers, my teamwork capability and The sheer amount of time I have. Firstly, I have 4 years of helping run a server for games such as Unturned, Rust, Cs:s/Cs:go, And one attempt and Arma 3. Learning commands on these games took time, Learning what the community wanted took time and learning to find Plugins for the servers took time. But none of them are difficult to me now. Secondly, I am very easy to work with. For the most part I'm chill, will listen and do as asked. But I can also voice my opinion on the matter very directly. I have played on sports team since I could walk and not talk properly, I understand how important working together can make or break your experience. My last point is simply. I have way more time than a lot of people. and that's just life I work hard at my job then I came home eat some food and want to relax by sitting in front of my monitor. That's just Three reasons why I am a solid pick for GM.


How do you plan to benefit the server? (50+ words):

We all hop onto our PC's to enjoy some time before we are forced to do "more important things". As Stated in my last Paragraph, I helped run a multiple different servers. I know how to listen and execute on making the experience for everyone on a server better. For example, for those who don't know how rust works. its practically a survival/base building/PvP game. The game can get boring sometimes just raiding other players or looting. So every once in a while I would hop on there with my admin abilities, I would make Bases that seem impossible to raid. I would announce they were there and let them go raid it counter raid anything they wanted. I also made up little events such as making a race track and spawn vehicles for them to ride around on the track. The Idea is to give people an amazing experience so they come back and make the server have a lot of people than the experience just keeps getting better and better.

Inoclip : lets you fly.

@@@ : is csay, sends a message to everyone in the middle of their screens.

!map : changes map.

!armor : give armor to said player with also how much you said. i.e !armor Zarl 99999999.

!blind : blind said player.

!jail : Jails said player.

!slap : slaps said player.

!sslay : silently slays said player.

!spectate : spectates said player.

!ragdoll : ragdolls said player.


What is In character and what is Out of character?

TBH this one is sorta hard to answer because its in the question but. In Character is anything that involves Roleplay. This could involve but not limit to. Character personality, Certifications he/she may have. Doing /me actions in game. Using radio if your not in a IC chanel with who you are trying to contact. Not doing anything your current character cannot do, I.E seeing cloaked enemies if not trained to. trying to perform surgery. IC people should not minge or break those types of rules either. Out of character is anything doesn't involve Roleplay. Like saying you need to go afk or laughing about what was said or done but not acting on it in game. Or like saying Jarvan is pink in ooc…


Are you willing to work with a Game Maker Team?

I think I answered this above but yes, Teamwork is key to making good events.


What is the purpose of a Game Maker?

the purpose of a GM is to host events for the server so people get activated with the RP.


Give us a full event idea you have. ( 3 Paragraphs )


My event idea is two parts. The back story goes like this; UNSC has found a an inhabitant planet with a super rare never seen on any other planet resource. This recourse is 1500x stronger than C4 in explosive power. UNSC wants to collect and destroy this resource as there is a limited amount on this planet and they do not want to risk it falling into covenant hands. The main plan is to send down UNSC forces, SoS and a Rigging crew(RP collecting the resource) to defend and move to multiple locations collecting the resource. NO EXPLOSIVES/EXPLOSIVE ROUNDS will be allowed or it could result in a explosion which might cause a PK.


The first part of the event happens on station. An ex FL has managed to aboard the station before Briefing takes place and puts an AI into a Spartans or FL armour forcing them to do whatever the ex FL wants. Right after briefing is called about the resource, the controlled Spartan/FL starts murdering people on the station stealthily. Once radioed in the briefing is cancelled until ONI confirms the AI presence and the controlled Spartan/FL escapes to the planet with the resource. The reason the ex FL wanted to control a Spartan/FL is to help him also collect the resource.


Now that briefing has happened and the Marines and others. have been giving there task. ONI Commands Spartans/FL to go after the controlled Spartan/FL To attain him. (I think killing him in game is good enough and as long as they RP them taking out the AI and trapping the AI). ONI at the same time goes with ODST to chase after the ex FL to attain or eliminate him. (what ever ONI wants to do at that point). The reason ODST is chasing the ex FL is because their armour is not quite like Spartans/ FL and are safe from The AI in the controlled person. Once ONI and ODST have attained the ex FL they take him for question. If they just eliminate him they just help marines finish collecting. Once the Spartan/FL save there comrade they take him in for questioning (just in case) and the rest help marines finish collecting the resource. If The Spartans/FL cant find him there is a secret way to help find him in a forerunner building with data about this AI and How to find it. (which tells them where he is).


While the controlled and ex FL are being handled. The rest of UNSC and SoS will be moving to and from each location of a total of five places of the resource to set up a defensive perimeter. The Rigging crew (GM) will then beginning setting up his equipment to collect the resource and put it into a pelican. He will RP setting up equipment, RP collecting resource 20 times, RP loading into pelican and RP taking down equipment. Covenant forces will begin to attack and not use aircraft or explosive as to not destroy the resource they want also. The rigging crew does not like to be shot at so they will hide until the forces are eliminated. The controlled Spartan/FL will show up at one of the 5 locations to try and take some of the resource and to just kill people up to him. It’s more important to not let him get any of the resource instead of chasing him if he leaves.at the last location if the other 2 missions are not done UNSC and SoS forces will set up an evac point. It's super important that NO ONE gets any of the resource as it could lead to more terrifying events. Leaders of there factions have to work with other factions to set up the defensive perimeter as too much in one spot could let someone into the rigging area. If this happens it will take to long for another rigging crew to get there and the mission is failed. Covenant forces will be eventually to much to handle.
Airforce will be given two pelicans. One for taxi from frigate to the locations needed to be protected. and the other one is to move the recourse back to the Frigate. No air support as to not explode the resource. Rigging crew which will be a GM. must RP setting up equipment, RP collect the recourse 20 times. RP load resource into pelican 20 times. RP take down equipment. The rigging crew is scared of dying so when they get attacked by the covenant, they stop. Once the enemies are eliminated they continue collecting.



I <Jarl/Zarl> Agree and understand that I am not staff, and it is not my job to do staff duties, unless there is 0 staff on I will not use my commands unless needed. I also agree that I will not noclip/abuse my powers.

I,<Jarl/Zarl>, Swear to uphold the server rules, and enforce them. And to stay within the limits and rights given to me by my assigned rank within GM's. And to keep a calm head and clear judgement when dealing with staff and or players, in order to ensure fairness to all who join the server.



And that if I <Jarl/Zarl> am found in violation of the rules I swore to uphold, and of this contract that I can and will be removed from GM's and or staff and forever barred from Re-Applying, along with any other Consequences that are deemed Necessary.

The event is too focused on ONI and its attachments. Along with this, the off map portion is not developed, only mentioned. -1 until all this is fixed

I have updated the event idea. I'm just waiting for neve to get on to update on forums. I went into more detail about what the rest of UNSC will be doing as after reading it doesn't clearly specify.

I'll also have to agree with that which has been said here already, I definitely feel the event needs to be a bit redone and modified as there is the mentioned ONI specified stuff that would leave the other players on the server quite bored and in any sense, left behind while those other places are more focused upon.

I have gotten permission to post a new event below this instead of editing due to neve not being online within the 48 hours.

Station Tampa has asked for our help on planet Keplar-13z which is closer to our station then theirs. Tampa station was tasked with colonizing the planet to make it a UNSC base. The only reason our station was not tasked to do so is that we had a more important task at the time. Troops and builders were nearly complete when attacked by URF soldiers. Tampa Station and personal needs to collect themselves from other missions and that is why we were asked to help. They have asked us to go take out URF Ships in orbit and then go planetside to deal with URF units. They also gave us a detailed map of the planet and promised to be there ASAP..


Part one is on a off main map station map or map like that. ( I guess this would be a good time to suggest a map that is a full working size cruisers.) :


Remaining Tampa troops on the ground tell us there should be no reason to keep those ships in the sky. URF ships can be destroyed, Until on route all UNSC personal receive a open communication that says. “This is Naval WO1 Jones, Blow this ship up now! That’s an…. *smack* (switches over to URF leader.) I wouldn’t do that if I were you.” end comms.

A decision is to be made to either explode the ship or go save WO1 Jones. If option one (/ooc which we all know should not be the right choice.) Naval Destroys them with their weapons on our frigates and we go planetside to clear the rest of the URF units. If option two is chosen, ONI commands FL and PJs to work together to quickly find Jones and the URF leader. Rhino and Golf division will head to the gen room and set up a bomb. AF pilots will be defending the hanger bay while also fighting in a aircraft space battle.The Rest of UNSC and SoS will Push with FL and PJ’s with them to help clear out threats on the way. There is three ways this part of the event can go down.


  1. Jones is rescued and all of UNSC evac immediately to destroy the ship. While URF leader escapes back down to the planet.

  2. URF leader is detained or killed. While then Jones is then rescued. Then UNSC will head to the planet to clear the rest of the URF.

  3. URF leader escapes with Jones back down to the planet.

These 3 outcomes are actually based on how the UNSC and SoS do on the ship. (not decided by GM) The Air Force will fly everyone who is on the URF ship back onto our frigate. Rhino and Gold division will blow up the URF ship.


Planetside part 2: (That map with the big UNSC building and town and such)

Our frigate will head planetside, The main goal is for us to clear the ao for Tampa station. Our second objective is to rescue Jones and capture or kill the URF leader.The remaining Tampa troops on the ground tells us they saw a pelican land near a big building, and tell us that it looks heavily fortified, with Anti Air. SoS, Vaulkery and Cerberus will already be on the Planet with there tasking to help each other confirm the map and get into there spots of attack according to the map. The plan is to get the frigate above the main building that SoS has confirmed with the map given to us by Tampa. ODST will drop and Rhino and golf division will head down by AF pelicans to the building to take out anti air. Meanwhile SoS will enter the side of the building to help start clearing the ao. Vaulkery and Cerberus will jetpack themselves a spot to help snipe out enemies. Once the Anti air is taken out Marines, part of AF, and STG naval will begin the frontal attack The rest of AF will be given pelicans to transport and some falcons to assist the attack on the main build. URF will begin retaliation sending troops to stop ground and slowing the push. They will also send out other aircraft to deal with our falcons. Naval operations and AI will begin scans for bombs, Enemies, ships Etc. Once the main building is cleared all highest in command for there faction will be given a direction to head in to clear out the ao. (Jones can die… URF leader can escape…. not Idle but is only our secondary objective) ONI and spartans objective sorta changes depending on part 1’s outcome. (see below) If URF leader manages to escape the planet, Spartans will join up with the Marines to finish clearing the whole ao. If Jones dies strike will handle how they do then also join marines clearing ao. Freelancers are to work on their own planetside clearing ao. If any group finds Jones radio it for strike. If anyone sees the URF leader they have permission to shoot on sight but would prefer to detain him. Mission complete once ao is fully cleared of URF soldiers Naval Operations and AI will continue scan until no enemies appear.. We will stay on the ground until Tampa Arrives (map change no evac).


(most of these tasking will be the same no matter the outcome of the first part of the event.)

SoS was tasked with heading straight to the planet to confirm locations on the map that Tampa station gave us of the planet. Once confirmed they are tasked with getting close to the biggest building stealthily taking out enemies along the way and await the green light to move into the building, Once they get there report what side of the building they are on. (there spawn point will be the grav lift)


Vaulkery and Cerberus will also be tasked to go straight to the planet. Their task is to find a good location to snipe down or at the building the SoS are going to during the attack on it. They will be given there jetpacks.(may build something with props depending on limit and fps) (spawn is with SoS as they need the ride down.)


AI will work with Naval (if allowed by ONI) to Scan for enemy ships and possible bombs or even escaping or flanking URF.. While STG will help marines and ODST on the frontal attack.(spawn is frigate)


Marines will attack the base from the other side from where the SoS is. Flown down by Airforce in pelicans Helping clear out the base of URF and reporting if they spot Jones and or the Leader.


Rhino and Golf division will help ODST take out anti air.then continue the clear of the main building with marines


ODST will drop in front of the doors at the front of the pact of marines, There first task is to help Rhino and golf take out Anti Air. and then help them push with the frontal attack.


ONI: If option 1 ONI Thinks FL are incomitant at the moment and send spartans after the leader. If option 2 Sit back and help command troops with the attack on the building. If option 3 ONI thinks FL and PJ are incomitant at the moment Sends Spartans after Leader and send Strike to rescue Jones.


Spartans If option 1 and 3 They go after leader of URF. if option 2 Clearing main building with Marines.


Air Force will be given a couple falcons to help clear the ao. And the rest of AF will be on the ground with marines.


Freelancer will clear the ao, away from the main building of attack.

The event really cleaned up nicely, and there isn’t much else to be worried about. Just keep in mind that excellent ambition isn’t always a sure fire good event. It takes time, planning, and resources.
