There were multiple instances where I didn't take my position seriously, and explaining all of them would take too long. One instance was when I told Tosh to go fuck himself, but we have since made amends considering it was like 7 months ago when this happened. What I can say is, i've completely cleaned up my act. I haven't minged since I became a gamemaker, which was under Verticus at the time. That might have been 2-3 months ago.

My name is Talon. I'm 21 years old and I live in Canada. I've been playing halo rp for around a year now. I've been here since Tosh lead Eclipse and since the other Talon was ONI Director. My friend James introduced me to revival, but sadly his computer is absolute garbage and he can no longer play. This community has been outstanding and it's the main reason why I play HaloRP, and became a gamemaker. Gamemaking isn't really in me anymore, and i'd like to improve my assertiveness which is why I believe staff is the right direction for me.

I am not a minge, but I admit that I was previously before I became Spartan Commander. With the rise of my rank came the fall of my previous behavior. I now keep a tight ship, and have changed significantly these past few months.

I have a lot of experience on Revival. I know mostly everyone on this server and I do my best to stay on good terms with everyone. I feel like I'd learn a lot from this position, and I can teach a lot as well. I can't really explain why i'm a better candidate because I don't know the other candidates, but I have a lot of confidence that I can reach the expectations set for me. To me, that's all that matters.
How do you plan to benefit the server? (60+ words, No Less): By being an in character role model and an out of character role model. I want to make sure Halo remains a serious roleplay server, and make sure minges are properly lead to the door. I haven't conjured up a plan to benefit the server, I adapt to different situations. Depending on what problems are caused, I will do my best to resolve them in the rightest manner.
Explain why you stand out from others (50+ words, No Less):
I worked my ass off to get where I currently am, and that speaks volumes for everyone on the server. If you put in the effort, if you assimilate yourself into this server and actively involve yourself in its community, then you are raising the bar for yourself. So long as you can pull yourself up, then you've proven yourself.

Hypothetically, if someone started using racial insults on another player, i'd approach the individual and witness the reported actions. If the claims prove true, I would kick the individual.
If the claims aren't proven, but there are excessive reports on the individual, I would warn them once.
If the claims are proven false, then I would initiate a staff sit and try to resolve the situation in a way that both parties can move forward without holding grudges.
Explain what FailRP is in detail: FailRP is failure to roleplay. Either no intention to roleplay, or roleplaying incorrectly. Example: Say if a marine detained a prisoner, stripped them and was enroute to the brig to deliver said prisoner, but he didn't have cuffs. The marine /me'd the handcuff process. FailRP in this scenario would be if the prisoner pulled out a gun and shot the marine and ran away.
That right there is failrp.

I would teleport the marine and the prisoner to the brig, and get all the information. I would learn about all the events listed above^^ and then handle the situation accordingly.
First I would tell the prisoner what he did wrong. "You were detained by this marine, which means your character is incapacitated. You were also stripped of all your equipment/accessories, so you no longer have access to your arsenal. What you did was FailRP, and will not be tolerated."
At this point, i'd listen to what the prisoner says. If he realizes that what he did was wrong, and is apologetic, i'd let the marine continue on with the RP and give the prisoner a warning.
If the prisoner doesn't really understand what he did wrong, and he feels like what he did was right and continues to cause problems, I would kick him from the server.

RDM is Random Death Match. If someone on the server started killing/shooting at other players for no reason whatsoever, that is defined as a random death match
Give one example and how you would deal with it As Staff(Give a Situation in Detail): As listed above, if someone on the server starts killing people randomly I would initiate a staff sit between one of the victims and the suspect at hand. I would get all of the information about the situation, and handle it accordingly.
If the suspect understands that what he did negatively impacted other players' experiences, and assures the staff that this will never happen again, I would give him a warning.
If the suspect shows no intent to RP on this server, and is insulting/provocative towards other players, I would kick them from the server.

Let's say I was walking around on Resurrection. A marine walks up to me and calls me "Master Chief."
I would politely ask them to not call me by that name, and I would inform them that that is not my rank.
If the marine continuously calls me master chief, I would bring them away from everyone and tell him/her
that they are not to call Spartans "Master Chief" unless their rank is Master Chief Petty Officer. Even then, it is more respectful to call them by their number.
I would warn, then return the marine, and by then hopefully the situation would be handled.
If the marine continues call spartans master chief, I would kick them from the server.

I would warn the person who FailRPd, and warn the other person for flaming OOC. No one should be arguing in OOC at all.
