How long have you played on the server?: Signed up and started browsing the forums; so not long, unfortunately. I was shown this place by Proto/Hank at first.

Requested position aboard the ship: E-1; Engineering.
Specific Gear, and/or abilities((Biotic abilities, Implants, and biotic abilities are application ONLY)) : M96 Mattock marksman rifle. L2 Implants that allow her to focus her capabilities; push/pull/lift/barrier. Repurposed/modified Cerberus battle armor with an upgrade to the helmet with vision filters.

Characters Backstory((The longer, and more detailed the backstory, the most likely you will be accepted.)) :
Kelly was born into a family of wealth, class, and respect in Lyons, France. Whilst her mother was American and kind natured, her father was French and claimed to be from ‘noble’ roots. Whilst the title meant little, he still wore it like a badge of honor. Unsurprising to anyone, even a family as ‘charming’ as Kelly’s had issues. Her father was a raging speciest that detested anything that wasn’t human, or at the very least, Asari. Turians, Quarians, Batarians, and the other species in the galaxy at large were always treated like second class citizens in his presence, by him and his place of work. Surprisingly; Kelly’s mother was nothing but kind and welcoming to anyone or anything that she met, with the exception of batarians.
Growing up; she was taught to look down upon anything that wasn’t human, which wasn’t a surprise. Habits, and opinions started to form at a young age that anything that wasn’t human was below even her. The school that she was enrolled into also catered to these ideals, but in private. Her education was better than the standard in France, and opened up the venue for her to look into quite a few things; her favorite subject was engineering which lead to her deviling even further into subjects relating to the construction/maintenance of electronics and droids, along with prosthetics.
After graduating with relatively high grades, the woman sought employment in the private sector for engineering. Unfortunately, being as young and inexperienced as she was, it was hard for her to find anyone that was willing to extend her an offer and take a risk with her. Her luck did eventually turn around however; after her father had pulled a few strings with a few friends in a ’private’ company with a ‘security’ force that shared the same ideals as him and his daughter. Her stay with them was rather extensive, upwards of almost a year, and she was trained in more ‘militaristic’ arts, and how to defend herself when the ‘security’ team was deployed to recover ‘assets’ or deal with targets that were a danger to the ‘company's’ investments. Needless to say, the companies true colors were shown to her recently, and how deluded they had become. When the chance came, she abandoned it after purchasing her kit from them. Needless to say; the woman had no idea that being in Cerberus was an easy way to get on almost everyones shitlist, save the more extreme members of humanity.
After a few months of deadend jobs, or just outright failure to find anything of worth; she was approached by an old friend that informed him of a group titled ‘New Eden’; seeing it as a chance to redeem herself, and try to mend the damage she had caused, the woman signed on with them. Given her history, training and education, she was rather easy to nestle into the rank and file.
What is your character's goal aboard the ship? Why were they hired by New Eden? : Seeking redemption; the woman threw her lot in with a promising group. Eventually her trails lead her to the group known as ‘New Eden’. Being experienced, and already trained, she was hired on.
