I started playing Halo RP about a year ago, in the midst of November. My first character was Valkyrie Junior NCO Artyom. My second was Agent Lambda, followed by Agent Lincoln and Agent Regret. Next was Head of SW (Now STG) Nevermore, and my current character is Damius, A.K.A. Pathos. I sincerely enjoy serious RP, and take pride in making deep backstories for each character, and working towards a character arc on each one.

Explain why you're a better candidate than other candidates (75+ words, No Less):
I have previous experience with the utilization of ULX commands, being a former GM. I have a strong passion for the server, and want to do everything I can to keep it on a pillar of high quality. I want to do my best to create and maintain strong relationships between the Staff team and the players of the server, as doing so ensures near-total cooperation and a superior roleplay experience compared to other servers. Overall, I want to guarantee all players on the server an immersive, friendly, and most importantly fun roleplay experience, whether it be through simply helping them with the just and fair punishment of minges, or getting their new members their relevant whitelists and tags.
How do you plan to benefit the server? (60+ words, No Less):
I want to strengthen the bond between the Staff and the players. As stated before, doing so makes the players more cooperative in sits, and also in return give them a friendly face to turn to if the situation calls for it. For some players, they may be partial to Admins due to previous experiences. By showing them that we Staff are as human as they are, we can turn their opinions around and give them the best Roleplay experience possible. As a server, we should all be able to communicate together and share great memories that the server is fully capable of making.
Explain why you stand out from others (50+ words, No Less):
From the time I started my time as Nevermore months ago, I wanted to be a higher up that his men felt they could level with. I strived to make that possible, taking time to sit down to have private chats if asked, and answering all questions I could from them. When I moved on to Damius, I kept that spirit with me. I feel that this sentiment of mine is something I don't have to keep to the realm of RP, but bring to the position of a Staff member.

Explain what minging is:
Minging is the act of breaking server rules, and roleplaying ICly in an illicit matter. Some forms of minging include metagaming, the act of using OOC info in IC, and ERP.
Give one example of how you would deal with minging as staff(Give a situation in detail):
To start, let's say the minge is accidentally committing metagaming. I would pull the minge aside for a warning sit. I would inform him of his infractions and let him know that he should not continue to break said rules. If he continues, I will punish the minge accordingly. If he commits RDM, that is a kick, and a second infraction can result in a ban. Mass RDM can result in an instant ban in comparison.
Explain what FailRP is in detail:
FailRP is when a roleplayer does an IC action which either does not make any sense, is overriding another roleplayer's ability to react, or in the case of metagaming uses OOC information in IC situations.
Give one example and how you would deal with it As Staff(Give a Situation in Detail):
If he commits FailRP, he will most likely suffer IC punishment, unless it is Metagaming, which can also result in a kick or ban on repeat infractions. A situation like this could be when a Marine PVT walks into the generator room and turns it off. Considering the PVT in question is not an engineer, this may result in a sit once he is arrested. Similar to before, I would inform him of his infraction, and leave IC punishment to his superiors. If he repeats this infraction, this can result in a kick, and any further infractions can result in his ban.

RDM, short for Random Death Match, is when a player attacks and/or kills other players around him without reason. An example would be a Marine PVT taking his weapon out during a Briefing and opening fire on anyone around him. This usually does not include event characters, especially ones that are spies.

Continuing on the example above, this action would result in an immediate kick. Further RDM would result in a ban.

Trolling is when a player intentionally minges, FailRPs and/or RDMs in order to garner attention or a response from Staff. This is usually done by opening and repeatedly insulting Staff ICly or OOCly, using names of real life persons and acting as them in a satirical manner that classifies as FailRP, or immediately killing players on the server just after being trained. Some trolls have YouTube channels, and do so simply to gain viewership, while other trolls do it for the thrill or fun of it, even if it hurts those around them.

Let's say a Troll, a YouTuber one at that, joins the server and gets trained. Their IC name is something like UNCSMC [sic] PVT Big Boi. ICly, they commit FailRP such as calling out names from nameplates (The name that comes up when hovering your crosshair over another player) and generally being disrespectful to their superiors. They decide it's time to get the Staffs' attention by running into the generator room and turning it off, then placing the blame on an innocent player despite being caught. During their sit, it is important to keep one's calm and not let the troll try to elicit a negative or "rage" response from any Staff. As before with other similar situations, I would inform them of their infractions, and hear what they have to say. If they continue to lie or attempt to troll me or other Staff during the sit even after being warned during said sit, they will be kicked, and continued infractions and trolling may be met with a ban.

OOC: Out Of Character is when a player speaks as not their character, but as themselves. This is usually used to make occasional, harmless jokes, pass the time with non-IC conversation, or generally allow others to speak as if in a chat room. An example of this is when UNSCMC PVT Jacobs wants to talk with UNSCMC SGT Mako about something not server related, such as talking about that one good level in Modern Warfare, or how they pulled off a trickshot in Halo Multiplayer.
IC: In Character is when a player speaks as their character. This is where all players must act as their characters would, as soldiers on base or in the field. This should be kept as realistic as possible, and should never include anything that is not lore-friendly, out of universe, or generally something much more viable in OOC. A correct example is when UNSCMC SGT Mako is giving an order to UNSCMC PVT Jacobs to cover them while they reload. An incorrect example is when UNSCMC PVT Jacobs starts talking to UNSCMC SGT Mako about doing homework for school IRL, through Voice Chat which is always considered IC.
What would you do if two people were fighting in OOC matters and it turned into IC matters (Give situation in detail):
Let's say PVT Jacobs was bragging about how he took down SGT Mako in an FFA. SGT Mako feels offended by their statements and starts talking back at PVT Jacobs. Shortly after the FFA, he brings PVT Jacobs aside and tells him he can't ever do an FFA when SGT Mako is doing it. I would intervene by stating that while the situation was at least technically IC, SGT Mako has no right to punish PVT Jacobs with an unusual punishment. I would also warn PVT Jacobs to not be so hurtful in OOC chat towards SGT Mako, as even though it is not IC it still may hurt the feelings of the real-life person playing. If it continued, I would ask that they take it into OOC PMs, and to keep it out of IC.
