So as most people are aware, the current radio/walkie-talkie system we have has been pretty much laid to rest. I've been a proponent of modifying, or changing out the radios for the betterment of the server in general, as it can go a long way to improve immersion. I finally found an addon which can replace and out do the one we barely use currently.

I know that most people on the server probably don't care enough to really see this as any sort of issue, but for marines in events and even events in general communication can be a huge issue, especially when its cross branch. This radio system is simple, and just works as far as I've seen it used in another server, (even if the server itself was pretty bad.)
If you're not convinced, let me pitch to you a scenario:
Lets say that the ODSTs have been tasked with destroying an enemies comms relay on one side of a map, and Lima 1, 2, and 3 have all been tasked to hold an outpost on the other side. Marines need to let the ODSTs know that there is a strong enemy force coming their way. That's with a fast typist though, so imagine the catastrophe that ensues when someone who isn't skilled at typing has to relay important information. It saves someone the trouble of moving around in team speak or whatever to communicate with another regiment. Sure, with our current radio system a fast typist could easily get the message out, but it still takes time and effort. With a voice radio, it's easier and encourages better RP. Standardization of radio communique could be a prolific part of realistic role play and training. Instead of belting out information in a very limiting character cap, a person can just communicate easily with the receiving end. ODSTs are aware ahead of time, and marines are being useful. A win-win situation for them. That's just one possibility though, and a lot more could be done with it, especially in events.
TL;DR
These radios
-Make communication easier
-Are more accessible by lower level factions
-Are more efficient than our current text based radios
-Improve RP and immersion
