Introduction
Just over a month ago, we asked you what you'd like to see as the next server of Revival. We heard you loud and clear and I'd like to thank everyone who participated in the discussion/vote of the next server.

Winner
Many of you may also know that 1942 won that vote, so let me just get this out of the way now, 1942 is what we chose as the next server. We've worked tirelessly for a long time now to get this server in the works and show it off to everyone.

I loved how everyone communicated in the voting thread. So I'd like to continue it here but in this thread and dedicate it just towards the winner, 1942rp.

You should expect the same quality, however this server is going to be seriously PLAYER driven. (I'd like to thank everyone who has helped so far!)

I would like to see it as an occupation where there is the Germans controlling a city and there is a different side like the french rebelian or the U.S.airbore like small squads that go against the Germans

I would also like to see if we could make this a SERIOUS RP server where we can enjoy the RP of either RPing as a citizen or a German in the city or RPing as the resistance fighting them in the shadows waiting to strike. ​

To answer both of your questions, we are going for a very serious vibe here. There is going to be resistance and german factions. Citizens are able to customise their characters and this means whenever you hop on rebellion you still look like your custom character (which adds to the serious rp vibe).

Our other servers just seem like faction wars and Although i like terminator i do not want them to suffer the same fate. We need to have small but ORGANIZED factions. Maybe a few here or there and like whoever said. The resistance feels like A RESISTANCE and not just another faction. Citizen RP is what we want and need. Thanks, Pigs

As someone who used to play 1942/WW2 exclusively, this is a dead gamemode compared to what it used to be. May not be a good money maker. That said, I’d like to see this work.

This server is going to be very citizen orientated. I don't want to spoil anything so I won't say anything unless Quack wants to. But it's going be very citizen orientated.

Mind if I dictate the German military RP when I come back from military school? If your wondering how I'm writing this I snuck a phone in also I want a new Punishment Tours/Physical Exercize system. Although we can make players do pushups in real life we can PT them in other ways.

I Love the current stuff, but is there going to be any form of housing/work that can be done by civilians? It would be cool to have different housing quality assigned to different citizens (Loyalty teirs?) and to be assigned work to fuel the German side. Resistance members could hide stuff in homes, scrape together resources, and communicate by building new resistance outposts in houses and the sort. They could sabotage parts for machines, etc.

It would also be really cool to have some sort of large scale resources/planning game going on too, for instance, the German side get "resources" from civilian run factories around the city, and can use those to build bases/outposts, while Rebels get airdrops from the allies and can use those to grab weapons, Ammo, "Resources" and radios. They can build outposts, equipment, and communicate with the allies (Possibly so they can officially coordinate raids and uprisings for more effect)

I wanna say one thing, I want to see this server thrive but in order for that we need good management and I want to know if your gonna be appointing people who know what their doing first instead of pulling new applicants. I don't know how that would work but Terminator had a lack of better management/me included/ and it died. So this is just one thing I want to know how your gonna deal with.

So I see a lot of questions pertaining to how the server is going to function. Well Quack and I got together before the server was starting to be made and put down some ideas. Now I’m not going to say all of them so I don’t spoil everything. But I will give one of the main features out. Don’t worry already talked to quack and im ok to talk about this. But basically the server will run of an economy system where the citizens will have to perform jobs. Bartender, crafting, fishing maybe, etc to earn money. With this money they can support and fuel the resistance by buying guns and rising up. This server will be not be a TDM. I will not lie to you. At the start resistance will be a grind. But at the end of the day it’ll be worth it. Quack has spent a lot of time on the server. As I have I addon wise. He’s done all the devving cause god knows I can’t. But yes this is basically DarkRP that has its own custom economy system. Oh and I forgot to mention. The bartenders drinks will allow for buffs. Btw I didn’t say all the jobs you can make money off of

This stuff is amazing i have learned to love and hate the SCP RP server but just wow i do wounder if each faction is like the factions in SCP RP EX. MTF CI GOC Ect.
