In regards to events, I like to think about every aspect of a story that can include anyone. By dissecting who’s available, their certifications, and each section of the player base, crafting story-lines that can preoccupy each section is vital in active events to make sure nobody is just ‘standing around’. I also explore 'bigger picture' events, starting what seems to be easy and small then elaborating into many rp options and choices that will depend on the player base making decisions, which are not objectively 'right' allowing for further discussion and passive rp / character development.
How do you plan to benefit the server? (50+ words):
I plan to benefit the server by introducing events that double as active and passive rp (oriented around command circle, assignments, subtasking between platoons, etc) , which includes more tactful thinking than the classic 'run and gun' and causes leadership and operatives to make story-riveting choices that will develop not only the event, but the mindsets and ideologies of the players character as well. By simulating these events, the players will be further immersed into an essence of serious roleplay and will start to understand the meaning behind actions having consequences.

*Gunfire immediately fills the background, Marine personnel are in a shootout with something off screen, scientists in bloodied lab coats run for the exits* “Mayday! Mayday! This is Staff Sergeant Ryder of Victor Platoon, stationed at Research Blacksite 02319 Codename Floodgate! We are evacuating at station code black! *The helmet cam goes to static for a short amount of time as the blast doors burst, the camera reconnects as Ryder is thrown back against a wall, the targeted fire from the marines increases at the open doorway, we get a first person view of Ryders Hud as he raises his gun, retreating and opening fire.* “Requesting immediate evacuation! The flood have broken through! They’re aren’t anything like we’ve seen before!” *The footage shows hundreds of mysteriously colored flood marines pouring through the doors, coordinating as if they have a leader to spread across the room. We see a Victor Platoon Uniformed Lieutenant charge Ryder, ripping the gun from his hands, then raising it to strike him with the butt of the gun. The footage turns to static as it strikes his visor.*

The event takes place at a battle torn research blacksite facility with the codename “Floodgate”. The facility is very well hidden, near a semi-populated city that the flood have attacked. Personnel from the facility have requested immediate assistance with multiple objectives.
The Marines, Army, and Freelancers will work together to reinforce the evacuating force deployed by the facility, clear the town of hostile, escort surviving civilians and facility personnel to the FOB, treat wounded and check for infection. From then, the FOB will continually be attacked in waves of flood progressively getting harder and harder. They will eventually find that the flood are spawning in from floodcracks in the ground, from the Freelancers will be assigned to plant anti-symbiote explosives at each crack to stop the waves, while the marines and army defend the FOB, medical personnel will treat or ‘deal’ with infected. Should this objective fail, the FOB will be lost, they will retreat back to a fallback location, with no civilians or facility guards as they have died.
ODST, AF and PJ’s are assigned to locate and extract trapped civilians from buildings that are inaccessible from ground entrance by landing on the building top and rappelling down / climb swep or tp if necessary. They will go door to door evacuating and extracting civilians via pelican and clearing out flood infestation from multiple buildings. From then, they will locate a comms center within one of the buildings that will be used in giving directions to civilians left inside the city with evacuation procedures. Once that objective finishes quick, they will assist with the movement of civilians and facility personnel at the FOB along with the Army, Marines and FL. They will serve as primary extraction for all teams.
ONI SoS, and Naval will both proceed to the research blacksite codename ‘Floodgate’ to extract information, clear the infestation, and contain the outbreak from spreading further. They will also seek to understand why this facility was attacked in the first place. Naval STG’s and SoS will focus on evacuating trapped facility personnel and VIP personnel, however, during their extraction, some of the personnel are infected by the flood, causing them to turn while being extracted, taking the SoS/STG’s by surprise. The STG’s will work to extract the facility personnel while while the SoS are handling spontaneous infections while escorting. ONI Personnel, STRIKE, and Spartans will work on extracting the research data located in the central terminal of the center. The terminal contains an AI that seems to be infected, advanced technology and clearly revealing to the ONI present that this form of flood is a new mutation that has developed its own technologies. No AI can assist in the hacking of this AI. While the terminal is being hacked, there must always be someone present at the terminal, if none are present, the hack is stopped. The hacker cannot have a primary weapon, only one handed to use the other for hacking.
At this point, the ‘Flood Boss’ is revealed to be a special mutation of Flood that is unique to only a special bloodline of humans, and it’s DNA cannot be extracted in any way for research or replication. The human still has sentience and control of the body, but is enhanced due to the flood mutation (will be created in PAC). These are the Followers of Flood (FoF), a generation of humans with a DNA line unique to them so that the infection does not infect them the same way it does to our humans. These player controlled FoF will attack the terminal to prevent extraction, STRIKE and Spartans will defend the terminal and the person hacking until the extraction is complete, from then they will get out as fast as possible with FoF hot on their heels. Should this objective fail, the data will not be extracted, and will result in a heightened attack on the FOB causing an evacuation, civilians on or not, and will cause an overall mission failure.
