Dark-RP should be added to this, seeing as the game-mode is one of the largest, and best ones out there. It attracts so many people per day, that it would assumingly triple the people in this community.

I want 1942 so I can become a SUPREME CHANCELLOR or maybe just be a Mad German Scientist that experiments on Soldiers and putting different serums in them to make them a super soldiers but first experiments himself first and ends up giving them powers but disfigures himself to where his head looks like a red skull

But I also want SWCWRP So I can be Palpatine or be a jawa on a adventure rather than staying in the desert of tatooine but the only problem is the last one kinda failed. Because of it being at bottom of the list but things can change 1+

And Kingdom RP I would want to be a troll literally I have good expectations for this Idea just get a dev who doesn't throw away things like that one guy did and you got urself a good gamemode. 1+ also Pikori sux jk

But I also suggest DarkRP or a TTT server or maybe even a Breach server would be fun like what Park said a different type of server rather than just RP
Also the only problem I have with DarkRP is the fact that it will be at the very bottom of the list but who knows but I would like to try a new gamemode though.


But I would really love to see some breach so people from SCP have a way to play breach without interrupting precious RP and there is also events in breach such as Weeping angel Infection ETC and able to satisfy a player's wettest bloodlust dreams.
A reason why I didn't mention PoliceRP is because it personally to me is boring

Pacific Front RP basically just 1942 RP but with Japs and Americans. Maybe just 1944 RP basically the western front properly done with the proper name.

I'm all for the idea of a 1942RP, we could try to do a good rendition of Ostfront where instead of a basic TDM like Vietnam, we could make it similar to Halo RP where the events and combat gameplay are PvE instead of PvP. There could be some sort of a story to it in terms of map and event choices, but it wouldn't be the main aspect of the roleplay. Perhaps a "Road to Stalingrad" idea could work out where it follows the progression of an infantry division, the 76th, being destroyed at Stalingrad, or 79th, barely surviving Stalingrad, Infantry Divisions, for example. For combat, map, and server design choices, we can pull somewhat from the Red Orchestra series, and use the DoD weapon packs. On a side note, the Red Orchestra 2 models on the workshop look pretty good in my opinion.
For this to work somewhat well, the usage of Nutscript, as much as I, and other people hate it, would be beneficial to the game mode, although it can work without it to a degree.

Spoiler: Death and injuries idea

Adding combat medics and bleeding mechanics would make combat and death more serious when combined with character injuries and death name PKs would make combat not only somewhat exciting but punishing.

When one's character is injured on the battlefield a combat medic will eventually go to assess the situation. The actions that are taken, as determined by the combat medic, will be dependent on "where" the injury is the player, what kind of injury when the injury occurred, and the severity of the injury. An attempt to "save" the player will eventually occur, where the physician is luck, and can be affected by the residing player's "medical skill".

Additionally, I feel that, as a previous manager of Vietnam, by focusing on a single faction wouldn't split the player base as much as TDM would, but with the limited amounts of high-paced action surrounded by long stretches of boredom, as war is, wouldn't make for a very interesting Garry's Mod server to start off on.

Not to mention the lack of a large variety donation options possible, most likely being limited to potential access to "early/prototype weapons", getting weapons before the specific year, like getting the MkB 42 instead of the MP43/44 late server, access to donator factions/groups, perhaps SS or NKVD depending on server faction choice; access to vehicle and tank drivers and operators mid to late server, mini-events centered around one's character, paid war heroism, and perhaps the occasional ability to commit war crimes and such.

Finally, the maps would be important to the server, and high quality and usable maps would be hard, and costly if custom made, to find. Events would be following history and game making would be potentially limited to mini side events, or orchestrating large battles with the combined effort of the entire staff team. The server idea being what it is, and the possibility of what it can turn into, requires a level of seriousness and maturity of that resembling Halo so that it does not descend into a Vietnam-like glorified DarkRP, with limited amounts of actual "RP", being no different from the cancer of Vietnam and most other 1942RP servers. It could work, but it needs time and carefully thought out execution to work and succeed.

TL;DR
My post is very confusing, and at times, conflicting, but an Ostfront 1942RP could work if it isn't cancer like most servers and is treated with seriousness and respect. The server not having a sufficient amount of initial hype upon launch will probably kill the server like the new servers following the end of Vietnam. However, it would be a solid, and easy, idea to just do a DarkRP and to get money and players from there, albeit a bit cancer.
