Rest and Relaxation at the Citadel. Most of the crew was behaving as per usual, with good spirits, companionship, and general leisure. Some were enjoying the alcohol too much, but nothing rowdy.

It was not until aprox. 01:15 when SR3 Stan Hardhead had reported in that Captain Cross was shot. The assailant was a prisoner held by C-Sec within the area. The Blue Suns Captain; Orvare, of whom we captured two days prior. We had his bionics dismantled... The entire left arm. Three of his right fingers. His Left eye. And any armor or equipment we had stored upon the ship.

Yet, somehow, and the Commanding Officer Fredricks had told me this personally, He escaped with no prints upon the firearm he manifested from the officer guarding the cell, rendered the guard unconscious, fired upon Cross, and slipped by undetected. The cameras of the facility, as well as the profile and database were wiped clean of any details or information pertaining to Orvare. It is believed that there are corrupt C-Sec personel with loyalty to the Blue Suns... But nothing to confirm this.

Half an hour passes, and I have gathered the CO of C-Sec within the area, SR1 Kelly LaCroix, MP-SR1 Proxx, SR3 Fredericus, and SR3 Nar Saltir. We searched the area with the help of C-Sec, but to no avail. Eventually having to face the Blue Suns in a plot of discours, as they took the offensive within the streets. They had taken control of the two YMIRs offered by C-Sec, and turned them against us. All while their precious Captain fled in escape.

Our small and last moment formed Fireteam held the area... No civilian casualties. The events that transpired after that would calm. However, with the loss and failure to recapture the escapee, SR3 Nar Saltir has managed to trace control of the YMIRs to a ship... The Ship's profile will be given when we have proper confirmation.

Notation: I still cannot understand the incompetence of those put incharge of his transport... Why leave him here in a civilian area of all places. Especially in an understaffed station, with low grade security... The cameras were down, the files were wiped, and the guard was unconscious, with memory loss? How convenient... Cross never saw the face of his assailant (Orvare)... I suggest opening investigation upon Commanding Officer Fredericks... Suspicion of him being one of the corrupt C-Sec is lingering.
