-----Before the Geth left----
Created in a lab Shiv was loaded with mostly programs for espionage, he was originaly Designed to leave a small man Squad to Assassinate important enemies of the Quarians and Extract information from Enemies labs and organizations.
His origin mission led him and 3 more Hunters into a enemy lab in order to extract information on a new weapon type, Him and his group Entered the lab without a hitch taking out his prey without a hitch, and Recovered the weapon loosing only one of his unit. Seeing as room to advance he Was de- Activated and Re programmed with newer Stealth tactics Designed to replace the flaws that his companion had.
The units Second Mission Designation was to take out a high priority Target that was leading a Revolt Against His Creators Labs, He Successfully Infiltrated his targets homestead where he killed his Target and his Wife the killing machine Stopping Before his targets daughter where his programmed mind seemed to wander and think for its own. When he Returned back to creator he was Re programmed once more in an Attempt to Wipe Free his Sentience.
Soon after he was sent on his last mission, This time he was Sent with a group 4 others in an attempt to Take over Rival Scientist Base, This base was heavily Fortified and also was in construction of other Geth soldiers, His Team Approached the mission without Questions and infiltrated the base, when his fellow Hunters broke through the First layers of Base they were Stopped by a Geth Prime this one Acted Differently than the others and Thought for its own, much like how Shiv was learning himself, After a long Shiv;s Companions were shot down, not capable of Thinking beyond their programming, Shiv Felt a Form of Sadness as his brothers were Shot down, and in Return ended up getting blasted down into a Garbage Compactor, only to Get Buried under his fallen Brothers Being Treated as Trash, Shiv Began a slow and painfull self Repair as his systems went offline.

Years later A human Scavenger found Shiv within a large dump, Realizing the Geth was Still in Tact he worked on Scavenging parts from shivs fallen brothers and Helped Repair the Geth, Shivs systems flaired up with sentient light as the man Finished the repairs, Shiv Adapting to his situation Accepted this man as his Savior becoming his Bodyguard and Aid.
For Years Shiv Traveled with the Scavenger learning of the Fate of his Borthers and Their Fredom from their Creators and Their Self isolation, He Though did not seek his "Family" as he had a new one with this human. Though when he had the chance he did commune with any Geth he found.
When the Reapers Released their message Asking For the Geth to join Them, Shiv Shook his head and Dissagreed with what they wanted, He Sided with his Human companion Who was now Getting slower with his age.
When the Reapers originally Attacked his new master met a unfortinat Fate, Shiv was not capable of protecting or Extracting his Companion and was forced to flee, He found Refuge among smugglers and Eventually was Reqruited in the army fighting off Against the Reaper invasion, He eventually found his way to the new Crew and offered his service to the captain as a Security officer and a infiltrator.
What is your characters goal aboard the ship? Why were they hired by New Eden? : He Seeks to Bring death to the Reapers, in Revenge for the man who helped him recover from his botched mission, From there he wishes to make a new home and Friends Realizing that the other Races are Capable of Teaching him more than the geths overall want for perfection.
