Small Suggestion / Request for Marine Sharpshooters

I would like to make a small suggestion to improve the quality of the marine sharpshooter class. Considering the rather limited ammunition count for the SRS-97a CQC, I feel it would be a great improvement to replace the DMR with the BR-55 Battle Rifle. This would improve the capability for the sharpshooters to function once they run dry on the high-caliber ammunition, as the DMR is rather lackluster in nearly all respects. Any consideration would be much appreciated.

the battle rifle I recommend it the TFA one. what it lacks in heavy hits, it more than makes up for in its precision.

if not TFA, I would recommend the halo 2 anniversary battle rifle, which is the opposite. high damage, lower ammo capacity, bit of a larger spread.

Or perhaps the TFA M392 DMR would do as well. Either one would be nice to replace the slightly underwhelming DMR the infantry sharpshooters get as is.

+1 BUFF MARINES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just a reminder marines are way to weak during events.

I don’t want to say this is a bad idea, because it isn’t, but my only complaint is that DMR is shorthand for designated marksman rifle. It’s purpose and primary function is to be any sharpshooter’s go to weapon when a sniper rifle or an assault rifle wouldn’t work. I don’t think we should just throw in the BR, but I think a different version of the DMR could be better.
I think it’s just up to squadleads and future donators to decide if a squad can have certain weapons, because as far as I know, the only squads that uses the BR practically is a sub-squad of Valkyrie, and Golf 04 who have the SOCOM BR. (And bulldog pilots but they typically and hopefully have aircraft.)

Unfortunately, there is no marine sharpshooter lead as far as I know, so I don't really know who I would need to talk to in order to get this done. The TFA M392 DMR is a better option than the Project Reclamation M392 DMR in my opinion though. That is one reason I edited the original post to include it.
