Characters Backstory((The longer, and more detailed the backstory, the most likely you will be accepted.)) :
Taia was born to a hardworking family. Family that worked in numerous military and servitude roles. Her mother was a scientist, working with newly discovered human technology (shortly after first contact). Her father was a true-blooded soldier from working age till death, having served for most of his able-life. Taia was slightly different at birth however, she always seemed to get sick quite a bit but doctors could never figure out what it was until she became older. At around the age of 8 she was found to have eezo nodules in her body, the kind that allow her to use and control mass effect fields to do innate things with biotics. As soon as this was noticed she was taken from her home and put into a special Turian academy that outfitted her with what she need and taught what was nessecary to make a soldier out of her. This was both good and bad as she had quite a bit of knowledge "drilled into her head" both useful and some just slightly propagandist as loyal soldiers were nessecary. However, for the most part Taia understood the situation she was in and was allowed to see her family whenever she wanted, her father greatly supported her decision to use this power for the "greater good" while her mother somewhat disproved, hoping she would have chosen to use her biotics for the purpose of science.
As soon as she was of age, she graduated the hierarchy academy with flying colors, having done absolutely amazing in most aspects. She went into hard gritty military training, having her body pushed to the limits both mentally and physically with biotic training and physical training, she was carved into the soldier she was now, given the title as a Cabal. During her run as a Cabal she did many operations, both with the standard Hierarchy military and side operations involving more discreteness in her work as it was a matter of security. Though, most of the work she had done was on the main lines, defending soldiers with what she excelled at, biotic defense. Having used barriers and similar skills to keep her squad safe and efficient in the field. This continued successfully for many years until the so-called "Reaper Wars" hit. She had to make many tough decisions on Palaven, many she was not proud of at all, many of which involved the death of civilians in order to save the high value targets that may save even more civilian lives, she simply tried to prove to herself that this was just for the greater good, but by the end she did not know what was right or wrong anymore.
What is your characters goal aboard the ship? Why were they hired by New Eden? :
First thing first, she wants to assist in defense and offense as needed. To work towards the goal of a better world post-war and to move forward together as a group, if not a community. She would have been hired by New Eden due to her efficiency on the field, her biotic capability and her desire to make sure everyone stays safe and the least causalities are done.
