Explain why you're a better candidate than other candidates (75+ words):
From being on this server for over a year now I have plenty of experience in both making and playing events, and this has helped me understand what makes an event good and bad.
Currently many events that happen on the server are very repetitive, especially with on station events where it is almost certain that the lights will turn off. I try to separate myself from the repetition by creating unique events that creates different gameplay and rp than normal copy paste events. On top of this, I have lots of experience with creating dupes, with some of my dupes still being used now by current gms.
How do you plan to benefit the server? (50+ words):
I will benefit the server by breaking the cycle of repetitive and meaningless events by creating well thought out events that change the way players have to interact with their environment and fellow players instead of copy paste “go kill this bad guy” events. I will also be able to reinforce the Halo feel of this server by sticking to the main enemies of the Halo universe instead of inventing ghosts into Halo and forcing the player base to be ghostbusters instead of fighting the covenant. On top of this I will be able to help with events, do sims, and create dupes to improve immersion and fun on the server.

In character is when you are fully serious and all of your actions are those of your character that would be logical and canon with the Halo universe, while out of character would be actions that are of the player and not their character and would be out of canon and not in respect to the Halo universe.

What is the purpose of a Game Maker?
The purpose of game makers is to immerse the playerbase in the Halo universe by creating events and rp that entertains the players, adds context and integrates Halo lore in a way that respects the canon while also being creative and original.
Give us a full event idea you have. ( 3 Paragraphs )
Briefing: Naval Intel Mark: One of our spies has discovered that a high profile Covenant Shipmaster will be participating in a religious ceremony soon, and he will have a large audience, that will be unsuspecting. We will be using this to our advantage and we will ambush them during this ceremony. In order to do this we will first head to the ceremony site before the target arrives and set up signal jammers to block any out-going distress signals. Next we will eliminate all covenant at the ceremony site and make sure that no distress signals go out. After this the SoS and HoJ will occupy the ceremony area with one sangheili to pretend to be the priest of the ceremony. While the sos and hoj are preparing, human units will hide in containers near the ceremony site, ready for the ambush. Once the signal is given, the priest-actor will assassinate the shipmaster during the ceremony and human units will exit the containers and open fire on the crowd, which may be equipped with ceremonial rifles. After this we will eliminate any covenant combatants and evac.
All units will land on the target planet and follow the plan and eliminate the standing staff of the ceremony and prepare the ambush. We will discover that an element of the ceremony uses a forerunner artifact that oni will have to retrieve after the ambush. The Sos priest will have to improvise the ceremony with the shipmaster until the signal is given to launch the ambush. Sos and hoj will improvise as ceremony viewers and staff, and the crowd will be full of covie npcs that wont shoot. Airforce will set up hornets away from the ceremony to use during the ambush. At some point in the ceremony, the order to ambush will be given and the shipmaster will be killed and the containers will open and units will engage the covenant. The hidden airforce units will fly out of their location and begin engaging the covenant and any phantoms trying to escape the area. Units will be directed towards the location of the covenants phantoms to intercept them before they get away. Oni will recover the forerunner artifact and after the covenant have been eliminated we will evac from the planet.
Debrief: Debrief will either be harsh or compliments depending on whether or not our cover was blown before the ambush. Oni will have the artifact and will be able to decide on what they need to do with it. If the day has been lacking with events a follow up on station event would be that the covenant are attacking the station in an attempt to retrieve the artifact for future ceremonies and we will have to defend the station from boarding craft.
I TERRY CREWS Agree and understand that i am not staff, and it is not my job to do staff duties, unless there is 0 staff on i will not use my commands unless needed. I also agree that i will not noclip/abuse my powers.
I, TERRY CREWS, acknowledge that this application is to be filled out with complete honesty. Being accepted will hold me at a higher standard in behavior and demeanor. Not doing my job or abusing will result in an instant demotion.
