Character's Backstory: Vex'ira was born in 2152, making her 34 years old. Vex'ira was apart of the Ulnay vessel, with her mother Erva who was apart of the ship's Medical team, and her father, Vax'avar who was apart of the ship's Engineering team. Her parents believed in hard work, and that everyone had to do their part to contribute when working with others. Originally as a child, Vex'ira wanted to be different from her mother and father, but as time passed on she would become more and more like her mother, and would want to pursue a life of being a Medical team member. Upon realizing this, Vex'ira would ask her mother to teach her, to which her mother would gladly do so, and taught her daughter as much as she could about taking care of Quarians. Once she became 19, Vex'ira would begin her Pilgrimage to try and help anyone out there who needed it.
Vex'ira would try to stay aboard other ships with different races, seeing if she could learn anything about the other types of people while at the same time earning some credits and keeping the crew alive. Unfortunately due to her young age and lack of experience at the time, the crews she would try to become a part of her would turn her down, forcing her to roam across the galaxy. After a year of wandering, Vex'ira would eventually come to an Asari run planet known as Illium, where she would be accepted by a group of Medical staff members. Vex'ira was more than eager to get to work, and she had her hands more than full. Since Illium wasn't exactly the friendliest of places, despite the initial appearance, people would constantly come to the medbay Vex'ira was at and require help. At first Vex'ira would only be able to help other Quarians, since she knew nothing about the other races. But as five years passed, Vex'ira would constantly watch the doctors go to work, as well as read anything she could find inolving the anatomies of other races. With enough patience and practice over time, Vex'ira would become one of the top nurses in the medbay, even rivaling a few of the doctors that worked there.
Having collected a magnitude of data on other races through experience and reading in her spare time over five years, Vex'ira decided that now would be the time for her to go back to the Flotilla. Thrilled with what Vex'ira came back with, the Migrant Fleet decided that her Pilgramage was at an end, and that she could choose the ship she wanted to be apart of. Without skipping a beat Vex'ira chose the Rayya Liveship. She wanted to help as many people as she could, so she chose one of the largest ships, naturally. Vex'ira nar Ulnay would then become Vex'ira vas Rayya, and she would work on the Medical team at the age of 25, helping thousands, if not tens of thousands of Quarians aboard during her 9 years there.
What are your character's goals? Why were they hired by New Eden?: After working on Rayya for 9 years, Vex'ira realized that she wasn't utilizing her full potential. She was only helping Quarians, not multiple races. So, with permission from the Flotilla, Vex'ira was able to leave in search of a multi-species ship that would accept her now that she had aged and learned. Vex'ira was hired by New Eden due to her vast knowledge with all of the races aboard their ship, and knowing how to treat most of, if not all of their wounds. Although she is not the most skilled when it comes to using weapons, she can fight for her crew if she is required to.
