Well, I decided to start this. This is a log of all my adventures in the HaloRP, from my Rank Ups to events and to the training areas. I decided to start this after my First Impressions Log as I found that I liked to recap myself on what had happened thus far.
So, that is what I'm going to be doing.
First off, I am PFC as of this post, and will likely become SPC soon, as I have been doing well on listening and participating.
Now then, I'm going to recap my time as a PV2.
After I had ranked up to PV2, I had done a bit more things. A few more patrols and I ran the killhouse... several times. A personal record of 14.5 thus far. I got really lucky that run. Making that first jump makes a world of difference.
Anyways, after the day had ended and I went to sleep. I was in line for a promotion the next day. Then the next day came. The person that was going to promote me hadn't hopped on, but that didn't matter as the CO promoted me due to diligence and listening to orders. See we had run a 13 man patrol and had several friendly fire incidents. You will be missed Yip Yap, oh wait, he survived thanks to a medic. Anyways. We had several friendly fire incidents and the group kept splitting in order to chase the bugs that kept spawning. I somehow managed to survive despite the friendly fire incidents. I was also a radioman and I had to keep giving updates despite the chaos happening all around. I swear every time I stopped a bug would spawn directly on my head. I had been practicing with Radio constantly luckily and I had a sheet I used for copy-pasting radio signals. For quick delivery.
After that thanks cooled down... for a bit. I got trained for HVY and we saw billy, {Still insists on a lowercase name.} Attempting the course. He got passed... technically. I won't share more details than that. Let's just say he isn't around anymore on the server.
Then the event came around. Talk about a fustercluck, It was a fun event. But the number of times I had to go around and tell people to NOT shoot at the people with jetpacks was insane. Plus Timmy kept on shooting ALL of his ammo into the forest with his Saw since he passed HVY training. Our CO got peeved at that. Also, someone gave the Recruits guns. Not a pretty situation. However, besides that, it was amazingly fun and had a pretty good story. If you paid attention to chat that is. I survived two bombings and got sent flying to ONTOP of the SoS ship where I said hi to the Shipmaster. I asked for help in chat, but peops were busy and had to mess with the extraction so they couldn't help.
After the event ended I got promoted again and became a PFC. I'm not sure if I'm inline for a promotion today anymore. In the end, I guess it doesn't matter as I will get promoted again eventually at the rate I've been going.
Later on, we ran some sims and I found that the server seriously needs grenades for Army. I mean seriously! We could not jump through windows due to the Bots in the sim room watching them. Normally the tactic would be to grenade or flashbang through a window and then clear the room. But we didn't have that ability and we still had to push it. It wouldn't have been so bad if not for the knockback effect the guns had. Besides that, I believe we did pretty well since we didn't have a medic for revival and we managed to make it all the way to the building... despite not being able to enter the said building due to the situation said before.
I'm pretty sure the last two things I said were out of order. I think the Combat Sim was before the event, I can't remember correctly.
What else do I have... I think that's it. I'll update later today with what happens today if anything does happen.

We did an overrun type thing in the SIM and had waves of enemies that attacked us. I did good till the last wave, where I rushed like an idiot.
Besides that everything worked out pretty well.
We also went on patrol again, it wasn't as exciting as last time but we got to show the new PVTs the ropes. I later showed PVT Snow the Killhouse since I spent most of my time there and we ran it a few times with the basic assault rifle. Snow got 20 something seconds, I forgot the exact time. But it was pretty good for a new runner, especially with lag. Then I ran it with the same weapons and got a 15.5 second run. I told Snow not to sweat it, I've spent over a day on that Killhouse running it again and again.
I hopped off after that.
I returned! To an event to be exact... the server was dying midway through it.
So I hopped in 30 mins after the event prep began and joined up with my mates at Chimera... almost all of them were CPL or above. Only 2 others lower than that rank. So the line we formed was a bit smaller than the others since the COs didn't really have to line up anymore.
Anyways, we hopped into the FOB, then we took the time and prepped it up, spread out and took corners. ODSTs went and patrolled. Eventually getting into conflict again, the ONI operatives had gone against a local force and the ODSTs decided to join in the frenzy. Which alerted the locals and the things skyrocketed from there. We had enemies on the way to the FOB, which we managed to set up surprisingly. Then we started to defend. Command was overlooking everything they could and then it happened... the server crashed! Crashing is an actual rare thing on this server, despite it having a player base of over 100 peops. It was likely the large map, plus 90+ peops. Plus AI pathing. Also could be a grenade prop. Which is what they think it is.
Anyways. The event was fun for how long it lasted none the last. After that, we reported to the briefing room. Which somehow has the most advanced piece of technology on the entire base. A hovering elevator. I mean seriously? Why? Anyways everything a-ok, the computers went dark apparently. But the mission was a success. After that, I reported to bunks and we waited for our CO.
All in all, we did way better than the last mission. The improvements were awesome compared to before, although some of our members had sadly switched to the military police.
After that, we went on a patrol. Which was fun, had a few bugs come to attack us. They weren't much of a problem... the problem were those vile birds. If you are in Chimera, you are legally obligated to shoot those birds on sight! They are the enemies of Chimera and they will be stomped out like the plague they are.
Now I'm just sitting in the Empty Room as we open interviews and going afk as I write this log.
