Yes, end of the day Arma is way more resource intensive. Yes Arma's engine is impressive but Source Engine is super super old, and never really expected much from your computer. Arma can create brilliant results without killing your fps as much but as a sacrifice you need a better pc from what Source expects of you. Fact.
