Harvester's discovery

During one of the Harvester's recent mining trip we have come across a new species. They seem to be an insect like biomechanical beasts. I will be bringing back some corpses to study. I will be using the hanger to hold and store the samples that I have gathered for the next coming weeks.

Have we found out anything useful about these bio-Mechanical creatures?
I saw you in the hanger the other day and i was wondering about their weapons tech.
What types of rounds and or plasma do they use, also another thing do we know where they came from?

What I have been able to find is that all of them are the same species. Just at different stages of development. I have been able to override what they target with some success though they may still misfire at times. The weapon tech that I've been able to pull is I have been looking at the bottom part of the "Strider" that seems to be a Gauss like cannon. I have also been trying to use the shells of them to armor Kig-yar with it due to the fact that small arms fire doesn't effect it. I will be continuing my research and seeing what else I am able to find and use. Remember, this is between the SoS and HoJ. O.N.I doesn't need to become part of this. I would like to have somethings to our self.

Hello Fleet Master Jeykee, Today we have made contact with the creators of the beings which we call harvesters,
from what i can assess, they call themselves builders and have cam to us in seeking help from the yellow things which they what we call flood, they ask of us forerunner blueprints for sentinels and to help them acquire a planet with resources. Some key notes before i end this message.​

• Builders do not have a recollection of where they come from.
• They came for blueprints for sentinels.
• They wish for us to help claim a planet with resources in which will enable them to build a fighting force.
• They have a advanced shield system than ours which is made from a crystal that also powers their systems. in the mean time i will call the shield a barrier

Alright. What I have been able to take from having personal contact with the Builders is that the drones we have been seeing are called Synths. I have also been able to gather that a Synth can be constructed in a few moments. You may have seen this when they deploy their scanners then they start to disappear. This is them being deconstructed. I have also been told that they wish to acquire the sentinel beam weaponry to incorporate into the Synths they make.
They have also given me the clearance to begin to modify Synths for our own use. If you do spot a green Synth walking around or flying please do not open fire as they are my own.
I hope soon enough that I will be able to manipulate them so we can use them in battle as well. One note I have been able to find is the exoskeleton of the Synths is immune to small arms and rifle fire. This is a huge leap that I hope to be able to master as well.
They have also told me about one of their factory's has been taken over by local insurgents. Now I do not wish to point fingers but we may have a "Mole" as the humans call it. Keep your eyes out. I plan to help assist the builders in taking back their area.
