In Character Thread Section?

I wanted to ask the players what they might think about having a thread section like this in place.

Here we could discuss research projects, plans we want to do with our divisions we lead. General practices for combat scenarios and the application of training sessions, and or, Combat Instructors scheduled training sessions and the like.

I feel as if this would greatly enhance the RP that we have all set up as players thus far and allow us to continue to move forwards along that and in time hopefully have a generated story about what we experience or do through the events. Such as projects on military weapons development, understanding on new hostile experiences and much more. I.E. the SCP-RP in character section.

So I can't wait to hear some feedback on this idea and what we can do to work around somethings within it.

Dear UNSCMC Command Structure, this is UNSC CWO4 Acres, Commanding Officer of the Marine Company known as ZULU Company on a FOB in the outer rim of UNSC space. I am contacting you today with utmost urgency. Though I am merely a CWO… and their are many like me, such as my XO Robo, and the CO of Kilo Company CWO1 Norsk, I have made a series of observations. ZULU, and the rest of the marine companies, need more infantry roles. Yes we have rifleman, and machine gunners, Corpsmen, and Company leaders. But we need more, diversity amongst our staff.



A good example might be, a spotter MOS for snipers, an Anti Enemy Vehicle Class type MOS. Maybe a heavy machine gunner MOS, or… something of the sorts. The marines grow tired of the same types of people running around with no specifications, just MOS’s and that's it, nothing more. Each MOS needs specifications, or supporting roles. LIke I said before, Snipers should get spotters, machines gunners should get assisted machine gunners. Something of the sorts. Also… Side note… can we uh… get our MA5C’s back… please… Eh-hem… anyway…


My Company staff has practically rebuilt itself after the old ZULU Company left… you remember, Hawke, Kevlo, Soma, Zoidberg & Wolfen, Rabbit… You know the ones… Now instead we got, Me, Robo, Tundroz, Vee, and Nix. All amazing marines in their own right. So that situation has been taken care of. But I feel that the Other Two companies could use some better NCO’s and CO’s… Eh, maybe I’ll stop whitelisting to ZULU for a while when Recruits come to our base for evaluation.


Anyway, my time grows short, so I’ll make this quick. The marines want more MOS’s and so do CI’s so they can teach more, and give us our MA5C’s back, I miss’em… Anyway. CWO4 Acres is logging off for now. Good night to whomever reads this… Or good morning… Afternoon… eh whatever.

I like the idea of using the forums as a tool for RP, rather than just something to look at every once in a while for the average player.
